Coffee farm with the Minas family
From the grove to the cup on the slopes of Agua Volcano, with a family of small-scale producers.

1 / 2
In San Miguel Escobar, on the slopes of Agua Volcano, the Minas family has been growing coffee at small scale for generations. This tour means walking into their farm and their home.
They take you through the groves and explain how sustainable farming works on volcanic soil and under shade. Then it turns hands-on: pulping, sun-drying, roasting on a clay griddle — which you do yourself — and grinding.
It closes with a fresh brew at the family table, while they tell you where all of this comes from.
