Jocote Festival bike tour. A guided, free ride through Jocotenango, Sacatépequez. Bring your bicycle and join us for the Jocote Festival. After the ride there are cultural and musical activities, a bicycle raffle, and more surprises. This is a bike ride: it is free, capacity is limited, and you reserve your place on this page. It is not a race or a long haul. The pace stays moderate so children, teens, and new riders can come along. Time: 7:30 a.m. Meeting point: Plazuela de Jocotenango, Sacatépequez. Children 12 and older who already ride a bike may join, always with an adult. What to bring: • Helmet (required) • A bicycle in good condition • Spare inner tubes • Water • Sunscreen • A rain jacket, in case it rains The route may change for traffic or rider safety. Organized by BiciRuta 502 and CANI Guatemala, with support from INGUAT, the Municipality of Jocotenango, Entre Ceibas, Direct Adventure, KTRide, the Jocotenango municipal traffic police (PMT), the Jocotenango municipal fire department, BiciBus Guatemala, and other bike-tourism promoters.
